Joe Stray boxed for The Syracuse Golden Gloves with the likes of local and pro boxers. That training would go onto lead to a New York State Championship. Stray was recognized as one of the top boxers in the nation earning a seed for the Olympic Trials.

He is an alumnus of University College and Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University, with experience in teaching, coaching and leadership.

Stray enrolled in Syracuse University (SU 2010-2014) where he would take up Sociology as a major. During his time at SU, Stray started Syracuse University's Boxing Club, and joined the United States Intercollegiate Boxing Association, where he lead a fight team to collegiate shows and boxing championships.

Stray is a professional trainer who provides health, fitness, athletic, social opportunities, and mentorship to his members. He coaches and trains athletes of all skill-levels and backgrounds, where he is noted for his motivational personality. Stray has well over 15,000 hours of training experience & thousands of hours in boxing gyms .

He has also worked with individuals and companies like Mike Tyson Boxing and Fitness Academy, Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Musical, Joe Deguardia’s STAR Boxing, and other boxing productions. He has trained with college and high school sports teams.
